My assessment confirms ADHD and depression. That was dated 11th Aug 2007.
The report was based on WAIS and various evaluations done by my psychologist who works under the same roof as my psychiatrist. It’s quite handy since both seem complimentary and invaluable. You need to see both in parallel, in my opinion. Regardless of your mental hassle. Thankfully both mostly paid for by the government here which makes it cheap in Australia if people understoof more about it. You have to “roll your own” help but it’s worth it.
I want to say 5 things at once. Let’s stick with my assessment. I can’t paste 20 pages, but the conclusion is:
Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder – Predominantly Inattentive, with hyperactive tendencies. And amoung the recommendations are that I should get “psycho-pharmacology anf psycho-therapy”. This goers back to my previous point that you need both a psychiatrist and psychologist. Once I would have thought that too hard, but not at all. It reminds me of having a lecturer and a tutor in uni. It really should be a threesome, not a twosome in most cases since ylou need the skills of both a psychologist and psychiatrist. For anything more serious than a short term glitch.
